Welkom Op...

...de Kerstmarkt...Welcome to the Christmas Market...an outdoor, European style market...it's similar to the farmer's market that operates here in Holland over the summer and into the fall, but it has a shorter duration...now through early December...and of course its focus is Christmas.

They even have a warming hut...
...where I bumped into a beautiful blonde...shhh...don't tell Karen...besides the tree and the delightful fire they've got a little boombox playing Christmas carols...how fun...

And at night they light up the downtown for all the Christmas carolers...
...and holiday crowds...
We even caught a glimpse of the Jolly Old Elf himself...
...and at least one of his reindeer...
...plus we once again spent some time by a warming fire...
...where once again I bumped into that beautiful blonde...must have been my lucky night.

Hafta hand it to my adopted hometown...they know how to do things right around here...and you gotta love small town America.

And yes, it's a little early for all this Christmas stuff...haven't even made it to Thanksgiving yet...
there it is...Thanksgiving on the hoof...or on the claw...
...on the other hand, it's beginning to look a lot like...
...and if you can't beat 'em, join 'em I guess...

Once again I'm feeling a little bit at loose ends...always happens when I finish a writing project and haven't latched on to my next one yet...casting about for something to grab my interest and fire my creative instincts.

Since I'm back into the Papa's Model T series again I could move onto number 7...it's amazing how rich the 1920's were with significant historical events...lots of fertile ground there.

I'll figure it out eventually...

later, mcm fans...
