Cyber Week...

...survival...a fait accompli...and not necessarily for all the right reasons...but the big retail event for 2018 is in the books now and we're still standing.

Of course we still have three more weeks of the Christmas shopping season to navigate and no one's counting their Christmas chickens...
...before they've hatched...but so far things appear to be well.  I do admit confidence is often that giddy feeling you get before you fully understand the problem...but so far so good...

Closer to home, the decorating frenzy from a week ago...
...has tapered off a bit...not exactly sure why, but the Grand High Poobah of Christmas seemed to lose a little steam after last weekend's burst of frenetic energy.

She did locate the red ornaments we use on the aluminum tree...

...a nice improvement...and some cool mid century modern ornaments from the RetroChristmasCardCompany that she placed on one of our "skinny" trees...
Plus she swapped out the tree in the TV room...
...for this flocked beauty she found on sale...and today since the snow is melting I'm told I must complete the outdoor displays...the manger scene and etc...so it's not like all activity has ceased...just slowed a bit.

With temps headed for the mid 40's today I may just take Mr. T out for a spin...
cheating a bit here...that's from 3 years ago...
...that is if the ice has melted on our road...it's been a skating rink the past week.  Should at least start him up, even if we don't go anywhere.

Are you as bored with this blog entry as I am?  Sorry...my mood is as blah as this wet, ugly weather we're having...
...I'll try to do better next time...

later, mcm fans...
