There's Been A Sighting...

...coincidence?  I think not...the resemblance is uncanny.

Plus, the way I handled my hickories today suggests a strong correlation to a primitive, uncivilized beast with little to no eye hand coordination.

Definitely a link here to Sasquatch...
...we'll try again next week...
The roof project is full bore right now...
...the gang's all here...

wheelbarrow races?

lots of decking needed to be replaced...

...LOTS of decking...
They're hoping to button it up this weekend and put the metal trim on next week.

We're ready to have our home back.
In the "random sightings" department...
"we're going to need a bigger fly swatter..."

Momma Doe's 2 fawns stopped by again...

...lilies are gorgeous this year...

...2 people in love...

Can turkeys swim?

...ready for a fire...

...and unwinding at the end of a long day...

"Old Salt", a 30 year old carving from a craftsman in Alpena...found him in the OK Tire offices in Holland while getting an oil change...

If I had to depend on my book sales I'd probably be living here...

...so I think I'm going to try a different tactic.

I'll check with some local bookstores and offer to give them a few books for free to see if there's any interest in featuring a local writer.

Will probably give them the first Papa's Model T...
...Red Train Christmas...
...and 7 Fridays...
...just to give them a flavor of my writing and see if there's any interest.

I figure I've got nothing to lose...can't be any less interest with them than there appears to be online.
It's a beautiful Saturday so I better get busy finding a hidey hole before Karen gets motivated to put me to work...summer is rapidly disappearing so I think I will, too.

later, mcm fans...
