...of compromise...and voila! Our very own "Wall Christmas Tree".
Or in this case, Window Christmas Tree.
You may remember I was hesitant to pop for a "wall tree" from the "Modern Christmas Tree" company.
I mean, they're cool, but they're not $400 worth of cool.
Thankfully, I remembered reading about an mcm devotee who lived in a small loft apartment.
He loved his aluminum tree but didn't really have enough room for it...so in a flash of space saving inspiration he attached the tree pole to a wall and only used half the aluminum branches.

And even though I usually put a full size aluminum tree in the living room, I like the "window tree" concept so much I converted that one as well...

...Christmas has blown into the Castle Frankenstein now that Thanksgiving is a rapidly fading memory.
|...and Santa catching it.|
This weekend we not only got Santa and his reindeer up on the housetop, click, click, click, we also got the front yard decorated including the manger scene...
...after packing up and hauling Thanksgiving to the garage - a modest tote or 2 - and then staggering under the weight of all you see here from the garage back to the house...well, I have "suggested" - perhaps we don't really need all this stuff spread all over the house for the next month...at which point we'll just have to box it all back up to store it for another year.
