Sold...

...or at least sale pending...papers signed and closing scheduled for end of June...suddenly it all seems very real...guess we better get cracking...meeting Chris today at the new house to define scope of work, and then the next four weeks will be all about moving stuff out of here and over to there.  Yikes...

One of the things I'm hoping to have in our mid century modern home is a 1955 Philco V-handle refrigerator...
These are ultra-cool vintage refrigerators...the door opens from either side, depending on whether you press down on the left or right side...and they're from the era when appliances were quiet and energy efficient (electricity was expensive and homes weren't wired for 200 amps like they are today)...plus they were considered show pieces.

They were flashy, with big logos, lots of chrome, glossy enamel...like a Cadillac with oversized fins.  Working on acquiring a refurbished one now, but I'm going to have to sell a few more radios and tv's for this one...

Spent some time with Dr. Deuce Mulligan, mental health professional, learning relaxation techniques...
...and I think it's working...we enjoyed a beautiful stroll through the countryside...

...discussing the really important things of life like "do I use my mid-iron or mashie for this shot?"

and "wonder if I can two putt this green?"
All in all a very productive session and I can feel myself becoming centered...whatever that means...

During one of the times I was sitting in my truck waiting for people to finish tromping through my home, one of my distant relatives hopped by...
...was in a rush and didn't stop to say hi, but always good to see one of the Hare clan...

In other botanical news, the peonies have finally popped...
...just wish they'd hang around for awhile, but they'll be gone in a couple of weeks...

Duty screams as always, so...

later, mcm fans...
