But that's ok...we gathered with family...
Can't blame them; I'd rather not be seen with me, either.
Others were devil-may-care with their reputations:
Either way we enjoyed sharing time with all of them and gave thanks to God for the birth of His Son.
It was indeed a Happy Christmas.
ah, the moneyed elite...note the arrogant smirks and upturned noses |
...when we partied like it was 1929...
In a break with our annual movie tradition, we skipped "When Harry Met Sally" in favor of Hallmark's "Small Town Christmas"...
And what will 2024 bring?
Your guess is as good as mine, but in this pivotal election year you can bet it will involve chaos and confusion.
In times of uncertainty, I claim the promises of God:
"Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
"And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus."
- Philippians 4:6,7
I hope you do, too.
Happy New Year, mcm fans...
