Did You Remember...

...to Fall Back?   The time change is as early this year as it can be, since the 1st Sunday of November is also November 1st.

And if you're like us, you had this "thing" going on the night before to distract you...

...when little ghosts and goblins came knocking at your door...

Sadly, due to the covid scare numbers were down, and  that's really too bad because it was a gorgeous late fall day...

...but for the 43 trick or treaters and their parents who dared to venture out, we were open for business as usual...

...with Marilyn, Mr. Bones in his Model T and Big Frank greeting them warmly as they arrived...

...urging them to take the path of least resistance...

...past the graveyard ghosts and jack-o-lanterns...

...and onto the walk of fear...

...at the end of which they were greeted by their hosts for the evening...

...this year's rendition of Frankenstein and his Bride.

A good time was had by all...just wish we could have had a few more victims visitors...

We have officially begun the sprint to the finish line of 2020, and it's certain both November...

...and December...

...will race by us at supersonic speeds.

And as if to underscore that sentiment, I see on this first day of November it's actually starting to snow now...

Heavy sigh...

In today's "cart before the horse" department, we have this:

That's the cover for #9 in the series, and while some ideas are definitely percolating on the back burner of the neural network that passes for my brain, they are NOT an actual story yet.

Even so, I felt motivated to put the cover together as I attempt to fill in the storyline details.

More to come...I hope...

Sights on the way out the door...

Karen's creative Halloween pumpkin...

...and mr. traditional's effort...

on display

another view of the happy couple...

...and Franky enjoying a coffee break...

...while Mrs. F reports for duty...

And that does it for this All Hallows E'en edition of the Atomic Monster Cafe.  We hope you weren't too terrified during your visit today...

May I have this dance?

...and therefore will be gullible enough to stop by again sometime in the future when you really should be doing something productive instead.

later, mcm fans...
