...was more of a ripple...whether by an appalling excess of unfounded enthusiasm or more nefarious means: Election Theft 101
Here in Michigan it appears we'll now amend the state constitution, enshrining the right to kill babies in utero.
As if that's not enough of a blessing, we've also been saddled with four more years of Wretched Dimwitmer as guv.
To top it off, both houses of the state legislature turned blue.
That last one makes perfect sense, right?
Here's a red/blue map of Michigan:
Get ready for more heavy handed, authoritarian dictates from on high.
Lockdowns, mask mandates and shuttered businesses, anyone?
For Christians who are waking up to yet another election of unanswered prayer, I suggest reading the book of Habakkuk.
The parallels to our situation today are significant, as the prophet laments, "O LORD, how long shall I cry and thou wilt not hear! even cry out unto thee of violence, and thou wilt not save!"
The key verse is found in chapter 2:
The apostle Paul seconds that sentiment in 2 Corinthians 5:7 - "For we walk by faith, not by sight."
And the writer of Hebrews agrees in chapter 11, verse 6 when he affirms "...without faith it is impossible to please God".
So that is our immediate duty, our pressing responsibility in the here and now - to live by our faith in God, especially when our circumstances appear dire.
In the meantime, might be a pretty good idea to move to Florida or South Dakota.
Just avoid Pennsylvania...
later, mcm fans...
