...has come and gone...and it started with us raising the Jolly Roger to let folks know we were open for business.
Numbers were down a bit this year, in spite of the decent weather and moderate temps...78 intrepid candy seekers traversed the "walk of fear", compared to an even 100 last year.
Chatted with the neighbors after and they suggested the "trunk or treat" events cut down on the old school neighborhood trick-or-treating.
Whatever the reason, for those hardy souls who did venture out, Marilyn and Big Frank were their usual friendly selves...

We handed out franky / drac / pumpkin bags...
...each one filled with "soul food", party favors and sweet treats neat to eat.
Happily, folks seemed to enjoy themselves...
...and Lord willing, we'll do it all again next year.
