A Reminder...

...God's righteousness prevails.

Amidst life's tragedies...

...when things seem grim, remember God's still in control...

But while justice tarries, we're left here to soldier on.

And in that spirit, what better way to pass the time on this sad and historic day than to cue up a QT classic...

Quentin Tarantino is known for three things in his films...overlong scenes, cartoon violence, and alternate endings to historical events...y'know, history the way it should have been, not the way it was.

And if you can get by the stomach churning violence -

- it helps that it's primarily being perpetrated by Jewish American soldiers against murderous nazis - then this is a satisfying rewrite to the end of WWII.

Rather than the long slow grind concluding in Hitler's suicide in his underground bunker, in QT's version Hitler and his top henchmen - Goebbels, Göring and Borman - all get shot...

...and burned to death in an over the top theater inferno...

...while the ghostly image of a Jewess they tried to kill scorns them in their death throes.

In short, the good guys win in spectacular fashion, something that's too often MIA from our daily reality.

Witness today's sham inauguration.

As galling as it is, keep this in mind:

When a clown moves into a palace, he doesn't become a king; the palace becomes a circus.

Get ready, the clown show is just beginning.

hang in, mcm fans...
